To make it easier for children to understand the life cycle of plants, the short film *Story of Flowers*, directed by renowned Japanese floral artist Azuma Makoto, depicts each stage of a plant’s life—from the blooming of flowers, to their withering and decay, and then to their regrowth. Using delicate animation and appropriately matched sound effects, this brief 4-minute film gently tells the story of each cycle of plant life. With its beautiful visuals, it’s hard not to watch it again and again.
